I have had a wonderful day and my entire day was full of LOVE.
Uyop and I were set to leave our home at 8.45am. We were spot on. We reached the car service centre at JB close to 9.30am, had our lovely breakfast. Uyop had Nasi Lemak and myself, Nasi Ambeng. It wasn’t fantastic to the max. It’s the company I was enjoying.
Felt good just to chat, enjoying our breakfast slowly and sipping our sweet teas with pleasure. Savouring the moments. Pleasurable indeed.
When he is busy with the mechanics, I read. Reading becomes a luxury to me. Infact, it was a luxury even being together like this. Imagine this; the whole day – just the two of us. Feels good!
The car was done around 1pm – had it washed, shampooed and off we went to AEON at Bukit Indah. We had our lunch at Nando’s a Portuguese restaurant. I truly don’t care about the food, but must admit that the Viennese coffee was the best. Afterall they don’t get best restaurant awards for two consecutive years for nothing.
We shopped for 3 hours and head back to Singapore. On our way back, we met Abang Lan, Uyop’s eldest brother. He is going to Philippine tomorrow nite for his business trip and will only be back in April. He had his car parked closer to our home.
In the evening, I was at the kitchen when Uyop called me to the room, and the sound of his voice calling me has to be the sweetest ever. Period.
I will savour today, this very day, as it may, or may not come so soon.
