It's 2010 Finally!!

The long awaited 2010 is finally here! I hope for many good things to come our way this year....

Last nite countdown was awesome..hmmm, not really. Only the fireworks was fantastic! We did not watch the rest of the show. I think most people came just for the fireworks. My camera's battery went flat on me when I was just about to shoot Darlingz, Uyop, Dyna and Ili and what could have been a perfect shoot of the nite!

In the morning of the first day of 2010, I received news of the death of my beloved religious teacher. He passed away last evening at the hospital and the body was brought back for the funeral this morning. I attended alone as Uyop had his guitar practise early today.

Uyop's guitar teacher came knocking the door around 9am. I thought it was someone selling stuff, so I did not open the door. He was persistent. Door bell rang, was knocked several times and still I thought wow, this salesman must be having hard time selling his stuff. Funny. Only after Nylie woke Uyop up to tell him that his teacher was at the door - my jaw were close to dropping on the floor.

Went to Ang Mo Kio to fetch mum, Zac and Iqah Melaty. Ironically, Zac was late - way too late.!! We missed the funeral anyway. We were at Jurong West for awhile, just the show of respect to his wife and then zoomed back to Ang Mo Kio before rushing back to Woodland. Uyop were already at the door, when I reached home. He was already leaving for his Friday prayer. Just a step away......

Bed hunting at Ikea after Uyop's Friday prayer. My stomach growled challenging my endurance level. I endured until close to late afternoon. Got a double-decker bunk bed that will have to be a d.i.y. That should be an easy task for the man of the house. Delivery due 05 January – Tuesday afternoon.

Went for our late; very late lunch at Banquet – Causeway Point. Shopped at Metro for lingerie. It’s for the girls....
